• The SINGA Program covers all tuition fees of this 4 years Doctorate degree for the awardees.

Eligibility Criteria of Singapore International Graduate Award 2025

• Candidate must be a citizen of any country, other than Singapore.
• Applicant must have completed their bachelor’s degree with good records.
• Candidates must possess excellent academic progress.
• Applicants must be fluent and proficient in the English language.
• SINGA doesn’t demand any English language proficiency certificate, as it will be assessed at the time of the interview. Additionally, applicants have to provide an English language certificate for applying to the universities individually.
• Singapore citizens who have completed their tertiary education in Singapore, are not eligible for this program.
• This is only for Ph.D. study scholarships, however, anyone who wants to apply for a Master’s degree, is not eligible for this program.
• Only candidates who want to continue their Ph.D. in Science and Technology, are eligible.
• This program is available for Science and Technology fields, not for Humanities, Economics, and Social Sciences.

Singapore International Graduate Award SINGA 2025 – Application Process

• Applicants have to upload and submit all required documents online.
• Applicants have to click ‘’Go to Research Areas’’ and select the research project.
• The referees have to send recommendation letters directly to SINGA.
• Soft copies of all necessary documents must be submitted online.
• The application process for SINGA will start after the submission of reference letters.
• Candidates do have not to apply on the universities’’ portal individually, they have to just apply through the official portal of SINGA.
• Submit your application at least a fortnight before the closing date as once the application is submitted, your referees will get a confirmation email, and this usually takes 7 days to complete the process.
• Applicants have to elaborate their research proposals in an online application form.
• Applicants can submit one to three research proposals at once.
• There is no need to contact a supervisor while applying for the SINGA Program.
• Applicants can apply in any interested field of Ph.D., with no need to follow their bachelor’s major.

• A copy of a valid passport.
• A passport-sized photograph in the format of JPG or PNG.
• All academic transcripts and certificates must be available in English language.
• English language proficiency letter recommended your previous institute.
• Submit two recommendation letters by the referees online.
